shipping notes. what we use. behind the scenes. press kit. status. one page instead of eight, because eight thin pages rank nowhere.

vøiddo is six engineers, no investors, no stand-ups, one hetzner box in frankfurt, and a small library of products that all started as somebody’s personal annoyance. the team is split across two countries — four of us live in israel (tel aviv mostly, one in haifa), two live in estonia (tallinn and tartu) — and we are legally registered as an estonian e-residency entity because that is the most honest place to base a small remote studio that bills internationally and has no single physical office. three flagships do most of the talking: scrb (ai product descriptions for amazon, etsy, shopify, woocommerce, available as a web app, a browser extension across three stores, and a wordpress plugin in the official directory), rankd (ai culture judge with a four-second verdict and a live creator embed path for newsletters, blogs, and community pages), and tells (text-first ai for reading what people do not say in plain text, billed through paddle).

around the flagships sit sixty-eight free dev utilities, eleven browser extensions across chrome / firefox / edge, eight browser games (three live, five marked “in development” because they actually still are), four wordpress plugins in the official directory, and thirty-six npm packages under the @v0idd0 scope. nothing on the catalogue is here because some keyword research tool said it would rank well; everything is here because at least one of us actually uses it, or has tried to use the alternatives and got irritated enough to write the replacement. this page is the engine room: what we are shipping right now, what we use to ship it, how we ship it, how to reach a human if any of it breaks, and where to find brand assets if you are writing about us. it replaces what would otherwise be eight thin separate pages (/now, /uses, /press, /status, /log, /changelog, /roadmap, /tools) that would each rank for nothing because google does not love thin pages.

no public ETA on individual items — we ship when we ship.

how we ship

the actual mechanics of how a six-person remote studio split across two countries gets a deploy out the door without agile theatre, async-anxiety, or the slow death of a forty-minute standup.

  • cadence · multiple deploys a day, small diffs, one-button rollback, no “deploy freeze fridays” (which only exist because teams do not trust their tests)
  • review · pull request in english, async, one approval for ordinary code, two approvals for anything that touches money, billing, or auth
  • standups · we do not do them. the merge log is the standup. if you genuinely need to know what somebody is doing, you can read the same merge log they would have summarised verbally
  • retros · only after an actual incident, written down, archived in the team wiki, never repeated verbally in a meeting six weeks later
  • in-person · twice a year the israeli four get a long lunch in tel aviv and the estonian two get one in tallinn; once every eighteen months the entire six fly somewhere mid-european for a long weekend and pretend it is strategy planning. no other forced offsites. nobody is expected to fly for a brainstorming meeting that could have been a github thread
  • on-call · rotating across two timezones (utc+2 and utc+3), paged via uptimerobot to a real human phone, last sev-1 incident: zero so far — we will tell you the first time we have one
  • writing · decisions live in adr files in the repo, not in slack threads that disappear, not in a notion that the next person cannot find

if any of this sounds aspirational rather than real, read the log — we tell on ourselves in public whenever something breaks.
