jobmeta is a browser extension. it lives quietly until you open a job listing on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or BambooHR — then a small button appears bottom-right. one click fills the form. one more click generates a tailored cover letter from your profile and the role's description.
what it is
job applications are a tax on your time. the same name, email, phone number, LinkedIn URL — typed into a different-looking form on a different ATS for every role. then the cover-letter box appears and you stare at it for fifteen minutes before pasting the same generic paragraph you used last time.
jobmeta solves both. autofill maps your profile into whatever fields each ATS exposes. cover letters get generated from the actual job description plus your actual experience — not a template, not a "fill in the blank", a real letter that mentions things specific to the role.
built for engineers, designers, marketers, and recruiters who apply to or source for more than two roles a month. the autofill side is free forever. the cover-letter side has a quota because writing one with a real model costs real money — but the quota is generous and the price is low ($14.99 for 100 letters, valid 90 days).
how it works
set your profile once
in the extension's options page: name, contact, summary, skills, experience highlights. stays on your device — never sent to our servers until you generate a letter.
open a job listing
on any supported ATS — Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, BambooHR — a small purple button appears bottom-right. silent on every other site.
click "fill"
first/last name, email, phone, location, LinkedIn — all populated. one or two ATS-specific quirks remain (file upload for the resume — that one's still on you).
click "cover letter"
the role description gets read from the page, your profile gets read from storage, both go to a model that returns a 3-paragraph letter you can copy-paste straight into the textarea.
